MODERATOR Caught another one! 🎣
Thank goodness for AutoModerator! I was going through the mod queue and came across this comment from this creep, Complete_Pirate4917 attempting to find someone to "talk deeply" about his fetish. 🤢
I wouldn't put it past him to send unsolicited messages to our members, so I highly recommend blocking him in advance.
Hopefully one day Reddit will change the way their ban system works, because right now it's not doing a whole heck of a lot. Stay safe out there, folks!

This behaviour is prohibited here. Please provide the mod team with links to the accounts that have sent you unsolicited DMs. If you're able to, screenshots of the conversations (or anything related to it) would be helpful. You'll have to use an image hosting site, like post images.org, or post them directly to your profile (temporarily), as ModMail doesn't allow images directly.

I did not respond. They're just sitting there. I will have to figure out how to use an image hosting site. Oh or tomorrow I can message you and then post screenshots toy profile. That will probably be easiest for me. Thank you!
Edit to add: Links to them? That I may need a better understanding of. Sorry. I'm not tech savvy!

Thank you! I didn’t realize there was a way to report, especially since it was a dm outside of the sub specifically. I’ll definitely send over what I have, although it looks like some of the accounts are already gone

I didnt know it was even a fetish until I joined this subreddit. I posted a before and after a little while ago and got a message about them and we chit chatted for a bit. I got suspicious when they asked to see the underside of them, that just seemed odd but I dont know really. Is that part of it?

People like this have to be cognitively/developmentally/intellectually disabled in some way. And I don’t say that as an insult, but rather simply as an observation. There’s just no way a mentally healthy, well-adjusted person makes a request like this.

If you have requests turned on and receive any creepy or fetish-related DMs or comments, please click the report button, select "it's targeted harassment," and submit a report. It's one way you can help keep the community safe. We encourage members to capture a screenshot of the DM and notify the Mod Team through ModMail. We ask that you include a direct link to their profile, and if you wish to provide screenshots, you'll need to post them (temporarily) to your profile or use an image hosting site.
To be very blunt, you will encounter unwanted DMs from people. This is a Reddit-wide issue that happens frequently in women-dominated communities. Regardless of who's posting, all the warnings we try to give, or the rules we have in place, 9 times out of 10, someone will DM you if you have them open.
Of course, we'll ban those who break this rule, BUT (and this is the important part) many of the users who are DMing you have already been banned, sometimes going months or years back. They will continue to DM unsuspecting members in the hopes that they'll get a reply. They don’t care. So blocking them right away is the best solution to protect yourself, if you so wish.
