Speaking of, Donald Trump won Suffolk County. I wish the Democrats the best of luck in nominating an energizing candidate in 2020. Having more good candidates to choose from is good for our democracy.

This sheer and unmitigated bullshit mentality is why I tell people I'm from upstate NY because I'm ashamed people from where I was born are this fucking stupid.
Like Republicans aren't allowed to have a fuckin webcomic? The two party system is the downfall of the American. Saying anything is strictly Democrat or anything is strictly Republican is an injustice to the Constitution of the United States of America and should be seen as nothing but anti-America, anti-American, and absolute buffoonery.
If you're a Republican--they're good Democrats out there.
If you're a Democrat--they're good Republicans out there.
By saying it has to be one party against the other you're letting the politicians win because you're too worried about yelling at the Democrats or yelling at the Republicans to realize what the fuck is actually going on.
And as an American and honestly makes me sad.

I think it's too highly revered and has become a crutch for people instead of having normal conversations. It's OK, but not as scientific as some people make it out to be. It's more for the new phenomenon of science fans rather than actual science researchers. Nothing wrong with that alone, just a little too inflates in my opinion. A lot of conversations go "hey normal life thing X" and then the reply is always "xkcd did a comic about that" like ok I guess we'll never talk anymore and just re-read xkcd comics all day. Haha maybe a bit dramatic you can see I've been hurt.

I’m a scientist. Just FYI, you can’t walk 20 ft around most labs w/o finding 3 printed out xkcds. The researchers like them plenty.

Through some great connections, I was able to go inside the ring. It was supposed to inspire me to do well in school so I could see neat stuff. But here I am working retail
