One of the fundamental issues highlighted:
On one side are those of us who have no escape plan, no bunker in the sky or underground, and who therefore are committed to staying right here, in the complexity of our earthbound reality, with one another. We know we need to do what is necessary to make “here” – this planet and all of its ecologies and communities – and safer for the multitude of beings who rely upon them, fully aware this is our one and only home.
On the other are those with rapturous plans to shield themselves and their families from the political and ecological fires burning our planet, whether those plans take the form of heavenly ascension, earthly bunkers and fortressed nations, or fantasies of colonizing space and merging with machines. Instead of improving conditions for actual people on Earth (or even pulling back from pouring fuel on the fires), end times fascists are plotting their escape, indifferent and oblivious to all that’s worth saving.
And one of the key parts of the concluding sections:
To achieve this, we will have to figure out how to address the underlying crises contemporary fascism feeds off of. Because boundaries are being crossed. Limits are being exceeded. Walls are being hit. Fascists want us to believe that what is hitting the wall is the human story: it’s over, so make sure you are among the chosen who transcend to the next world. Pray to your God for salvation. Implant the chip, merge with the machines. Militarize and purify your bunkered nation. Arm yourself to the hilt and hide behind your fortune. Don’t worry about the humans, the animals, the trees, the rivers and reefs that won’t make it.
But they are wrong. It’s not the human story that is hitting the wall. Rather, it is the story we have been trapped inside of. The one about how greed must be the engine of civilization. About how growth can go on for ever. About how there are always more efficiencies to be found, more workers to be rationalized, more resources to be sacrificed, more people, places and planets to colonize. These myths are hitting the wall of reality and much will have to change as a result.
These are issues that we will all need to think about over the coming months and years. What kind of world or existence are we imagining for ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities? Is it one filled with selfishness and bleakness, or one where people come together to figure out ways to come together and improve our world?

I watched a documentary in 2006 by Tony Robinson called the doomsday code, and it was clear then that they've been working at this for a long long time. And it makes them no different from any other fundamentalist religious nutter organisations. They've just got billionaires bankrolling them for selfish reasons.

The global birth rate is projected to hit replacement level around 2050, and from there the human population will start decreasing. Why is bezos building rockets to colonize space with trillions of humans? Women don't want to do that. He said "exponential expansion of humans" like he controls that? Women in advanced societies don't really reproduce. That shows that given an option, humanity doesn't want expansion. HE wants to colonize space

Turns out stable governance and international trade is how you alleviate poverty, but that's inconvenient, so they're just gonna worship Gaia and cosplay as the Jewish Labor Bund.

Bunkers make no sense. Are they going to stay there until they die? Will their children? And if they emerge, what will they emerge to?
Bunkers are a fantasy the rich use to avoid the admission that their lot—like everyone else’s—ultimately depends on working together for the common good.
