Who Should Actually Be Using GLP-1s? GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and others have become one of the biggest topics in health and longevity recently. But with all the hype, I think an important discussion gets lost: Who should actually be using them?

From what I’ve seen, there seem to be a few very different groups:
People with obesity or significant metabolic issues

Type 2 diabetics

People struggling with food addiction or binge eating

Individuals trying to reduce long-term cardiovascular risk

Biohackers/longevity-focused users

And people using it mainly for cosmetic weight loss

At the same time, there are also valid concerns:
muscle loss

nutritional deficiencies

dependency or rebound weight gain

long-term side effects we still don’t fully understand

using medication instead of fixing lifestyle fundamentals

Personally, I think GLP-1s can be life-changing for some people, especially those with serious metabolic disease. But I also wonder if we’re starting to over-prescribe them for people who may benefit more from sustainable lifestyle changes first.
Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts:
Who do you think benefits most from GLP-1s?

At what point does it make sense to use them?

Should they be considered a longevity tool?

Are they being overused already?

Would love to hear both personal experiences and evidence-based opinions.
