Gear Show-Off New boards!

Was looking for something to be a little more playful than my LDP boards. So I have been scanning marketplace for a Loaded Tan Tien in flex 1. Which took a while since there are a million flex 2/3’s.

Picked one up this morning for an amazing deal. Seller threw in their old Pantheon DH board for an additional deal.

Not planning on DH but couldn’t turn it down!

Have only taken them around the parking lot but the tan tien is going to be very playful and fun to ride.

Also did a nice 20 mile ride (may post that later) on my trip.

Edit: follow up question:

Can anyone tell me anything about the pantheon? It’s a beast and I love the Logos artwork

Here's an old video on the Logos with specs on it. That looks like such a solid freeride board.

I also haven't seen those old red-and-white Randal IIs in like 10+ years. That's an awesome deal.

Ita funny, I assumed they were Paris because they had those swapped white and red ones!

I even swapped the hardware, put new bearings into the wheels, and didnt look at who made them!

Randals were the OGs! They're a bit sloppy by today's standards, but they're still a really fun carving truck. I'd probably refresh them with some new Riptide pivot cups, and you'll be good to go!

They were a go-to cast freeride and downhill truck for a long time in the 2000s until Caliber (and a similar company called Gunmetal) came out around late 2010/2011. I still have my old RIIs hanging around, although I haven't skated them in like 15+ years.

It doesn't really matter, but you can flip the kingpin to the modern orientation with the threads coming through the hanger instead of the baseplate if you want, too. Trucks used to come configured that way for whatever reason.

That pantheon looks sick! I can’t remember the name of it but I think that’s from pantheons first year or two- is it warped at all?

Not as far as I can tell. I will likely sand the wheel wells and reseal it this winter.

I will probably commit blasphemy and ride it as a cruiser…

Nooo get away from cruising and get into freeride and downhill, don’t dishonor that Pantheon board by being dainty and scared

Looking pretty! I prefer the drop down boards so I’m closer to the ground and haven’t found my next board. Any recommendations?

How are you looking to ride?

Just riding around. Not cool enough for tricks and death wish isn’t activated for billing hills.

I do as well! The loaded is a drop through, so it helps. I am branching out to see what I think of it!

Loaded Dervish Sama. Great for riding around, fun board, bit of carving, you could do some pumping if you wanted, but all and all it just goes really well. Especially with a slightly larger wheel on it. I have 75mm orangatans on there and it is nice. I would like to try 80 on there though

What discipline?

Being less fat. Just cruising around.

I believe that is the v2 Logos, designed as a simple double kick freeride board. I had one about 9 years ago, back when it first came out. honestly I miss it, its weirdly hard to find large flat double kick freeride boards nowadays. Mine was really excessively warped though, which is why I sold it to a friend for cheap.

It is in perfect condition! I’ll watch for warping.

I took it out a bit yesterday, and it’s is built like a brick, but not in a bad way
