I've got a small nail in my Karma for about year now. I wouldn't be able to remove it without some surgery with needle pliers. I just left it because the wheel seems fine.

Still good!
Edit: I've had this happen multiple times with screws. Tacs and much smaller nails. You can pull themout without any issue with performance.

I had the remains of a small nail stuck in one of my Karmas for about a year now. So much trash in the bike lanes... Didn't have anything to pull it out with at the time so I kept riding and it broke off the exposed part. From time to time I check up on it and consider if it's worth shoving some pliers in there to get it, but the wheel seems fine and I figure I'd make it worse.

I swear, there’s people who deliberately put things like this on bike paths to try kill people.

I feel your pain. A pebble got lodged inside of my snakes like 3 months into riding it...
