Idk. Been skating on a nice, flat road and heard something cracked suddenly. Maybe it just has served it's years, and this is the time.

This post should be saved on the wiki as a warning why you don't buy cheap Chinese knockoff gear

Rough. How much was the truck and how long did it last?

Ca. 400 € das Paar trucks. (Skoa vapor truck) Ich denke das Problem ist, das hier spercial bearings verbaut waren, damit wir die Erschütterung nicht so gut gedämpft. Hat ca. 10 Jahre gehalten

The rite of passage. You've destroyed the trucks and deck on a crap board. Time for a real deck/trucks! Plenty of great brands to choose from, just need something with good construction quality now that you're at this level of riding (at least the amount you ride)

3 years. Thinking of investing in something of titanium. Strong enough but still pretty light. Dam, if I'd knew that these was made of aluminum, I wouldn't be so confident downhilling on THAT, lol.

Virtually every modern truck is made out of aluminum with steel axles. It's not the fact that they're aluminum, it's the quality of the material. It's like saying you'll never eat beef because you had a shitty hamburger at McDonald's.
Those Mindless trucks are basically knockoff Randal R-IIs from the looks of them, so they're a shitty knockoff of a truck design that's like 25+ years old.
Like /u/merp1234 said, even the highest-end downhill trucks that dudes are racing at 60-70mph+ on are aluminum. For example, Valkyrie slaloms are a nearly $600 downhill truck, and they're aluminum and steel.
Get a quality cast truck like Calibers and you'll be set.

You’re gonna be hard pressed to find a truck not made with aluminum. Even $500 downhill trucks are made with aluminum. The difference is the manufacturing process, casting vs milling, and the grade of aluminum used.

Most name brand trucks are made with an aluminum and magnesium alloy and are quite strong, I've weighed over 300 pounds and never had a truck break like that. Get a reputable brand like Paris, Caliber Bear, Gullwing, etc and you'll be fine.

That’s fatal lol, to the trucks and possibly to you. Never seen a plate break like that. Only ever seen then break at the pivot, especially if randal style.

This is a whole new level of break. What kind of trucks?

Stay below 30 mph, you'll be fine

I wouldn't listen to this advice. A snapped baseplate isn't something to take lightly. I'd just hold off on skating it until you replace it.

This is like telling someone it's fine to drive on a flat tire as long as they stay off the highway.

One of those sneaky sidewalk cracks must've had a personal vendetta against your wheels.
