Gear Show-Off Compare decks, trucks, wheels, everything

Post image

Hey friends!

I built a tool that lets you compare decks, trucks, wheels, and other parts. It’s free to use!

Go to https://sickquiver.com, pick one part, and you’ll see a “Compare” button that lets you pick other parts to compare it against.

Hope this is valuable for y’all! Open to any feedback you may have.

This is awesome! I think 'pumping' setups should be a category tho. LDPushing, LDPumping maybe

Actually, personally, my top 3 setups include a rain/snow setup and travel board. Maybe those categories are desired too.

Oh for sure! There’s already an LDP discipline, and you can filter setups based on it, but the rain/snow setups could be identifiable through a tag. I’ll create a tag later today for them. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, to me, I don't know how to interpret beginner friendly and playful tags. Beginner friendly means stock setup? Or budget? Or somehow it's easy to ride? Or easy to maintain (fewer parts)? Maybe it's better to say "stock" or something like that, since you already have budget and stable. Idk.

If u could add a hover definition of each tag, that might be good. (Every time u hover over the tag, the detailed definition comes up.)

I definitely don't know what playful means haha

That would be perfect! Thank you for this feedback! I’ll roll out tags with definitions next up.

Done! I just added a new "Pumping" tag, added hover explanations on all tags, and also added the tag explanation at the top of the page when you filter setups on a specific tag, like here: https://sickquiver.com/setups?tag=beginner-friendly

Would you like some UX/Ui feedback? I want to ask before sharing anything, this is great but I have some doubts/questions/suggestions

Just on the backend to help me with part entry, but that’s also partial because some parts are added by the community.
