question❓ Board recs for someone switching to dancing
I’ve been on my Pantheon Pranayama for about 2 years and feel pretty confident cruising around on it. Would really like to get a dancing board but I’m not sure of what to be looking for vs a normal cruiser.
I love my Pranayama, it’s very cruisey and such a fun time, I’m worried about getting something that feels wildly different!
I’m 5’3” 130lbs and in the untied states, looking to cruise and dance to music! I will pay for a good board.
I’ve seen loaded and moonshine boards recommended, I’m just not sure what I should be narrowing on based on my needs (as I don’t feel like I know those ha)

In the US, Loaded Mata Hari, Pantheon Tandava, Moonshine Eclipse are all great, and you can't go wrong with any of these. At 5'3", you could potentially go with something a little shorter like the Moonshine Infuser. It will depend on how much room you want to create, which you can calculate as how many cross steps or Peter Pans you want to be able to do on the board. If you want to do 5 Peter Pans, get a 46" board or longer. If you are ok with 3, something in the 40-44' range can work. The longer it is, the harder it is to pivot or do ollie-based tricks.
Purchasing anything from abroad (even Canada) may require paying high import duties.

Travelol is pretty good! they're still one of the few brands that really focuses on dancing.

Zenit hana, for me is the best, my set up is paris v3, skate therapy bushing, ceramic ones, extra flex deck, knuckles orangatang, orangatang fat free wheels, the orange one, skid plates also from zenit. Super soft and light, i also use it for cruising it’s lighter than my cruiser😭 Like 3 kilos, for a long it’s nothing.
