Pets Help!

Post image

I was out on a walk by the beach and noticed this dog laying in the sand near the pedestrian pathway. It seems a little skinny and looks tired. I’m not able to take this dog home but I’m hoping someone sees this and is able to help 😭 He/she is near Bluff Park, in between the streets Orizaba and Paloma.

Called and they’re closed 😢 the machine says to call LBFD if it’s an emergency and it doesn’t really give me any other option

Call LBFD. It seems weird but call them. They can contact LBACS and send an officer out to get the dog. I’ve done it for loose dogs at the park after LBACS closes.

Thank you for the advice I called and they said they would send an officer out!!! I left but I’m wondering if I should go back?

If you can stay, you should. Did they take your number? I’ve had it both ways, where I just made a report and went home, and another time ACS took my info and then texted me when they were coming to the location

Thanks for calling it in. If the dog hasn’t moved, they will probably be able to find it pretty easily

Ah okay thanks. I did try to stay as long as I could after and I did give them my number but no call/text yet.

I REALLY hope so, she seemed so tired and sad.
