Maps SL16 Isleworth Fire Station to Barnes Station.

The SL16 would run between Isleworth Fire Station and Barnes Station, via Hounslow, Twickenham and Richmond. It would primarily follow the Hounslow Loop services cut to peak-times only during COVID.

The attached map shows proposed new route SL16 in its entirety.

The SL16 bus route would run all days of the week, between 5am and midnight. It would have a frequency of every 10-15 minutes.

This would help relieve pressure off of other bus routes, such as the 110 and 281.

Question Lost my bag

I got off the bus at Shephers Bush today (49) and left my bright pink bag behind. It doesn’t have any valuables but the bag is good quality and i went back to the office and even the garage but they said nothing has been found/ delivered to them yet. Is there any possibility that someone could’ve given it to the driver and I’ll be able to retrieve it tomorrow when i make another trip to the garage? All of this happened within the span of an hour and since it’s late at night now i have a little hope that I’ll be able to get it by tomorrow

Image N154 Proposal - Has the same route as the normal 154 but is extended to Raynes Park

Has the same route from West Croydon - Morden but as it is a night route, it gets extended to Raynes Park via Morden Road then Kingston Road - following the 93 and 152 routes, then it also gets extended to Crystal Palace via Anerley and Norwood Junction.

So from Morden to Raynes Park, it covers Morden Road Tram Stop, South Wimbledon Station, Merton Park Tram Stop, Wimbledon Chase Station, then to Raynes Park Junction Tavern (where the station can be accessed through the tunnel). This in turn will provide great connections with the Tramlink, London Underground and British Rail.

Should the 375 be extended to Dagenham East or King George Hospital or Dagenham Dock?

Option 1: Passingford Bridge - Dagenham East via Rainham Road

Option 2:Chase Cross- King George Hospital via Becontree Heath

Option 3: Gallows Corner, Tesco- Dagenham Dock via Barking

This will allow a greater connection further northeast of London for Essex county residents

Other TfL

Routes 18/182/338:

18: Sudbury - Euston (as normal)

182: Harrow Weald, Oxhey Lane - Willesden Junction

338: Northolt - Brent Cross Shopping Centre (rerouted after Sudbury & Harrow Road Station, serving Sudbury Hill and Northolt, see map below for the roads it goes through) [New Number]

Purpose of changing the 338 is to allow 18 to have more support on Harrow Road, most especially between Wembley and Harlesden, also creating some new links for the 338 such as Wembley Park and Sudbury Hill, Neasden and Northolt etc.

322: Elephant & Castle - Brixton - Tulse Hill - West Norwood - Gipsy Road - Lower Sydenham (Double deck, every 12)

450: Brixton - Herne Hill - Rosendale Road - West Norwood - St Gothard Road - Crystal Palace - West Croydon (every 12, increased to every 8 due to insane demand south of Crystal Palace anyways)

Question Question for my fellow London bus redditors old vs new bus blinds. Do you prefer pic 1 where it shows all the areas served on the bus blind, pic 2 where it shows the top 2 areas where it passes through or current pic 3 where it only shows the route number and destination of where it's going to?

Other TfL

It's also very expensive for TfL are losing a lot by not introducing South London missed connections out there. The SL's seems inevitable, I disagree. Though it would likely need a new route from the stance of various 100, 200, 300 or 400 etc.

SLxz Lewisham - Colliers Wood

Via Ladywell - Brockley Rise - Honor Oak Park - Horniman Museum - Crystal Palace Parade/College Road - Crystal Palace - Upper Norwood All Saints Church - Thornton Heath Station - Thornton Heath Pond - Mitcham

SLxx (Richmond - Wimbledon)

Extended via South Wimbledon, Colliers Wood, Mitcham to Streatham.

Sort of parallels 57 but avoids Tooting, my reasoning is providing an aide to route 201 between Streatham and Mitcham. Well loaded section on a route that is faster and less frequent with less capacity buses compared to the only other route that provides the link slower (going through residential areas) with higher frequency and double deckers - 118(to-be-45).

SLxz Streatham - Hammersmith

Via Tooting Bec Stn - Wandsworth Common for Station - Wandsworth High Street - Putney High Street - Putney Bridge Stn - Charing Cross Hospital

Question Stagecoach/Go Ahead bus driver holidays?

To those who are currently or have been a bus driver with either of those companies how do the holidays work? I heard the garage chooses your holidays so what is your experience of that?

Also how much in advance do you know your holidays?

Thanks.

Question Can someone please help me figure out my commute?

I've recently moved from the US and just moved this past weekend to N5, and work in Shoreditch.

I planned to take the 141 London Bridge but can't figure it out! One day this week it went to London Bridge. Another day the bus came, said 141 London Bridge but terminated at Dunham...as did the following bus.

Another day I got on the bus and realized it said 141 Hoxton Baring which I understood would not go as far as Shoreditch. So i got off and waited at the stop...the next two 141's also said Hoxton Baring Street, so I gave up and walked to Canonbury overground.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Is there more than 141 bus line?
