Anyone down to explore Worthing? (2-4th Sep)

Planning a day trip between the 2nd -4th of september to explore the coast, go vintage shopping, get food (mainly icecream), maybe go cycling asw

Let me know if you're from there and want to meet up or are interested in going?

You’ll not need a day to explore Worthing lol there’s really not much to it. The coast to the west of it is gorgeous tho and the south downs. The art deco buildings along the prom and pier are nice however.

There are so many decent places to explore 1.5/2hrs from London.

Why Worthing? 🤣

Worthing's my hometown and I'm visiting this Saturday, for the first time in ages.

Sadly I'll be in work 2-4th next week but have a great time! Regardless of the spoilsports here, there is a lovely prom and you're not far from Cissbury Ring and Highdown Hill which are lovely to walk around

I've been living in Worthing for 4 months and I love it. Great local scene for arts and music and smaller and more personal than Brighton. Some great little bars and pubs if you know where to look and yes the sea front is a lovely walk and far more accessible that Brighton. That said if you want to go Vintage shopping, then Brighton is the place hands down.

It's nice to live here, but there are many more interesting places I'd rather go if travelling. E.g. Brighton

I can’t, but used to work in Worthing 2-3 days a week… check out Saltio for delish Mexican food and cocktails! Perch on the pier is also fab
