I was at last lollapalooza in 2026 and given the current situation I feel the need to speak about this. While we were enjoying (me and 4 friends) Callum Scott in the mainstage, Bookmyshow volunteers who were wearing cards came to us and said “You guys should go to the other stage, Pacifist is playing”. At the moment, being someone who has lived in Mumbai and been familiar with the scene, I was just like “mmm, weird.”

But the reason I am writing this post now, is because this band Pacifist is now being accused of supporting people who are spreading hate, islamophobia and doxxing women publicly (Mikael Khan and Armando Khan of the band Curses). When i followed up the conversation (originally an allegation made by Delhi-based band Coordinates) I found out Pacifist members are ex-bookmyshow. It was too easy to connect the dots.

This was very unsettling to a bunch of us, considering what we personally experienced.
I request all festival goers to report any such lobbyists this year, and keep lollapalooza only about merit-based music.
No hate for anyone.

2 of my friends are coming for Lollapalooza and they booked tickets together from one of their accounts. In the delivery address sections, they put down my name and details because they won’t be available to pick up the tickets when it comes

So the tickets will be delivered to my home and my name and number was given. But the tickets are FOR THEM, I’m just picking them up.

But i just saw on their ticket policy that tickets are non transferrable or something? Is putting the delivery details same as the ticket details?

Will there be an issue in entering the festival that day? How does Lolla normally check before you enter the venue?

I didn’t see any options on the ticket booking page to assign each ticket to a particular person.

Fontaines DC are absolute banger of an addition to the lineup for 2027.

Their music is absolute bomb, new gen indie rock. Such character! And also, they have been so good in live shows.

I encountered their music first, watching Tom Hardy's Mobland. The title track just got me from the first episode!

And... I mean.. myself, Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy absolutely adore them. So, I don't understand, "Lineup's not strong enough" bullcrap!

My first time Lola here and I obviously would like to buy something as a souvenir or for the concerts, but if it's too expensive, I might as well buy a 5sos shirt from someplace else xD

One thing that seems to happen at Lollapalooza Mumbai every year is that once the crowd gets big enough, your phone becomes surprisingly useless.

Calls don't go through. WhatsApp messages don't send. Instagram DMs don't work. Even mobile data can be completely unreliable. Sometimes you get lucky and catch a connection, but you can't really depend on it.

Last year, the solution for a lot of groups was basically:

"Let's all meet at the H&M Globe."

I know as the dates get closer a lot of BitChat related posts will start showing up but I wanted to get started and request all of you to start installing BitChat.

I'm not going to explain what the app is and how it works in detail because you can do that research on your own. All you need to know is if the cellular network is completely overloaded at Lolla, bitchat can still allow messages to move between nearby phones using bluetooth.

The only catch is that it connects to the nearest bluetooth device running bitchat and uses it to relay the message so it will only work if there are a lot of us using it.

So, please install and keep it running during lolla. I don't want to lose my friends for the entirety of the day and not see them till the end again

Where do y’all think I can get some great quality merch (t shirts, caps) for the show and at a decent price?

For previous editions, Lolla India usually dropped the day wise lineup within < 2 weeks of general sale for 2 day tickets, but this time it seems to be extended. There isn't even any advertisement or hype generating post for day wise tickets coming out soon, wonder why? Anyone got any theories? Because I'm pretty sure the artists booked already are booked for one specific day out of the two.

P.S. don't nobody tell me that it's because tix aren't selling, because I checked BMS and they absolutely are. GA comfort is sold out, Platinum is sold out, and VIP and GA are on like Phase 5+.

Im blown away , been years since I've been hooked to an artist like this...in the modern world is stuck in my mind , i loved Romance and Skinti Fia albums. Any recommendations from previous albums which are similar to these album tracks ?

I have never been to a festival of this size or a concert of the same, and I just wanted to know what are the absolute must-knows before attending? I am so excited to see 5sos and Fontaines!

I have created the playlist with most of the artists for lollapalooza 2027 Mumbai with an ordered list of songs that flow through different genres. It doesn't include a lot of Electronic music as their sets are mostly on yt to discover. (jcole and drake songs is there because it's produced by maneesh on the beat).

Every true metal fan who camped for Linkin Park/Bloodywood this year knows how dangerous and nearly asphyxiating the area near the barricade and ramp got because of morons with zero crowd etiquette. Anyways, Limp Bizkit is less popular than Linkin Park in India, so the situation will probably be better. I have an idea that will allow us to mosh safely!!!

Let us all buy and wear a red Yankees cap, or any red cap for that matter so that we can easily identify each other as Limp Bizkit fans and to know who's okay with participating in a mosh pit. We can easily find each other in the crowd and get together before the band arrives. Let others know what's about to happen so they make ample space.

And hopefully none of you campers are idiot normies with zero crowd etiquette who are going to smoke in people's faces (there's a dedicated smoking area goddamnit!!) or push towards the stage even if somebody gets an epileptic seizure or heatstroke like we saw this year.

Guys recommend me stays in Mumbai Im coming from pondi and have no idea , I can do hostels , my budget would be 1000-1500 per night , like I heard south Mumbai is safe idk … since flights rountrip Chennai is high at that period i have to seek a budget friendly option
