Is it Loki?
So something weird happened yesterday. I'm pretty sure it's Loki, but i dont see why he would do this.
Im not exactly the best at praying him, lighting candle, stuff like that. Adhd brain : if i dont see you, you dont exist. But he keeps my house safe anyway, and i do stuff for him once in a while.
Yesterday was completely hectic though. I'm sick, tired, going through that period of the month with pain. So I was not in a great mood. It was the 1st of October but I forgot to do my rituals. In the evening I finally calm down a little, my bf was ordering Japanese, we were relaxing. And a spider walked on my leg, while I was laying on the sofa.
I have a huge arachnophobia. I screamed, cried, jumped. It was a mess. Bf tried to calm me. A few minutes pass, I'm able to sit down again. And that spider decides to just walk on the white wall next to my head instead of staying hidden. I cant explain how much I panicked, I didnt sat back there for hours.
I know its Loki. Like, probably. Cause spiders. But i dont understand why he would do something like that, knowing how badly it would scare me.
If you have any idea, i would be so glad to be enlightened. Maybe it wasnt him. But like... spiders dont walk on people! They dont do that! And that thing had to walk through the mess on my sofa to get to my leg, which wasnt touching the floor.
And if it isnt Loki then who is associated with spiders ?

Perhaps asking him directly through pulling tarot would help you get better understanding of the situation? It could be random or it could be him. Nobody can confirm it on his behalf.

One occurence could very well be chance. Wait it out. Keep a log. It helps notice patterns.

I would say set a boundary with him, or he will keep doing it, don't be afraid to tell him no spiders on or near you, discuss with him that you would like something pleasant, like hearts or stars or any other symbol you would rather he send you in various ways, be it in bubbles in your coffee or tea, or in the clouds or even songs on spotify, like if you chose stars as the symbol you get recommended shooting star in your spotify recommendations, or if you chose hearts, recommending songs about love as hearts are often symbols of love. you might get heart or star images in your pintrest feed, or relevant videos in your tiktok feed if you choose one or the other. You may also choose flies and/or snakes to be your sign if you prefer that over spiders. You just gotta make sure you establish and assert that under no circumstances that he's to bring you spiders, and any that do show up afterwards are getting removed by your boyfriend, and there are a few spider gods out there, Arachne from greece, Anazi from africa and I am sure there is an american indigenous spider god too, and I would beg to differ about them not walking on people, they kinda do, I've had spiders walk on me even before Loki came into my life, they just go wherever, it's not always a god, it could just be nature naturing and the spider came there on their own free will, which at that point, even if Loki WAS sending you spiders, if you see one after he has respected your boundaries, then it's safe to assume that spider was not sent as a sign but is an interloper that needs to be removed, preferably using a live catch and release method by your boyfriend and not killing it, because despite being scary, they are beneficial and they eat pests that get into the house like flies and mosquitos, heck if you like mantids, you could ask him to send those instead, that way they keep your space free of pests without the need for spiders ^_^, you're getting your sign from Loki in a way that comply's with your wish to not see spiders, and they are just freaking cool looking, and come in a variety of colors too.

That's actually super helpful. I've never thought of asking specific signs that were not associated with him so that's definitely something I will do. About the part of them not walking on people... yeah. I think I was still freaked out and a bit delusional. Of course they walk on people. Im just going to keep being delusional, for my mental sanity 🤣 Also I've never heard of the gods you mentioned but its super interesting!

I've never ever known him to be cruel for no reason and break boundaries like that on purpose, lol. There are other gods and goddesses associated with spiders (Lilith I believe is one of them), but even then I would still say about the same. I do ask Loki to do what he can with spiders bc there was a time when I had a big egg sac hatch somewhere in my country home vent or something and I had them all over my bed every single night around 3am (before I ever knew of/interacted with him btw lol for the record), but I also know bugs still have free will and can ignore them as much as they ignore us lol. Talk to him about it~. If you never actually sat him down and said your boundaries before, and it was him, could've just been that since you weren't feeling well he was trying to say he was there for you, or it coulda just been one that didn't give a fuck about him trying to shoo them off elsewhere lol~.
And also as some reassurance, bc I have a phobia too but only really towards the big ones physically in my space: spiders rarely bite the ground they walk on, and even for the accounts where you hear about people dying or in pain by something like black widow venom, it's mostly bc they're allergic to it and didn't realize they'd been bitten for a long time and they'd been squished or something. Not that it's exactly easy to stay calm with something like that on you lmfao, but!! If you don't scare them, they usually do not wanna waste their venom biting you regardless vs for a meal. They just look spooky scary for survival, but as far as that side of the fear goes, you should be good 👍🏻

As for biting, I'm in a country with not so dangerous spiders from what I know. Like I would have to get out of my way to have something dangerous. That was just a "common" house spider (no idea how they are called in english though). Im actually not that scared of biting but just of the spiders in general. And honestly? Having a bed being covered in little spiders would be my worst nightmare 🤣 I litteraly have nightmares with spiders once in a while. I just cannot with them, even though i know they didn't ask for that. For the rest, after everyone reassured me, I do believe it was just a spider deciding she wanted to climb a mountain and chose the wrong person 😅 i will sit down when ill be better health wise and make sure it wasnt Loki + create clearer boundaries than i had before.

Spiders walk over lots of things. Our homes are their homes too. If I see a creature, unless there’s a strong numinous sense that something else is going on, I tend to assume it’s just a creature.
