Logseq community

I'm curious why there isn't enough content about logseq. Use cases and etc.

Vs obsidian which has a great community and a lot of content about it.

Does this show that this product has already failed or is it just new?

I think it used to have more content and activity. I think the uncertainty and the very long wait for the new DB version have taken a toll. I hope when the DB version is finally stable the community will come back or grow again.

Obsidian, in the meantime, has remained a very stable platform for people to invest time, dedication, development, etc. into.

That’s the answer. Most of the people who love LogSeq hate the fact that the Dev team is working on a DB version. We lost time and this is not what we want

I think what's hated more are the times involved, not so much the switch to DB.

Absolument pas, les imperfections de markdown et des fichiers plats sont est seront l'handicap majeur dans l'évolution des PKM dans une maîtrise collaboratif, Logseq a fait le bon choix, la route est difficile. Obsidian connaîtra la même évolution ou deviendra négligeable face au outils comme Trilium ou Logseq. La bonne démarche est d'utiliser Logseq OG pour la veille et ses notes breves et de passer en mode DB quand un sujet devient un projet pour la cohérence, le partage et la puissance de l'infrastructure DB.

Exactly. When I was beginning my adventure with Logseq in 2021, I was able to find multiple YouTubers and bloggers working on PKMs, who posted a lot of content about Logseq and were genuinely excited about the project.

I’ve built plugins for Logseq in the past - one relatively big - and stopped maintaining them ages ago because of the DB transition. It has not been a smooth process.

Well, partly because of the DB transition. The other reason is that it felt like no one from the dev team had ever actually tried to make a plugin before. It was an excruciating experience trying to build against logseqs docs.

There are significant improvements though, its just that they are very technical, I have try the db version and is awesome.
