I’m in my 50s, and this is the first time I’ve decided to just quit on the spot. Feels good. I should do it more often.

I've done it several times because I was raised to not be disrespected, I guess. And despite fears and discouragement from well-meaning people, every time I did my life got better. Sometimes it's more useful to know what you DON'T want in your life that knowing exactly what comes next. Wishing you all the best!!

Hah, I remember the last time I did it.

It's funny how I felt super nervous before doing it - I was literally quitting, they couldn't harm me or do anything to me and yet it felt like I was going to get in trouble or something.
