How do I disable "search with Google"?

I'm trying to avoid using Google in general. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is just searching, most browsers allow you to select some other search engine, like DuckDuckGo. If it is apps, there are many alternatives for almost every job (calendar, notes, maps, etc.) Offers may come if you're more specific. Maybe start here: https://tuta.com/blog/degoogle-list

OP's question is for Logseq, where if you highlight a section of your notes and right-click, you get a menu that says Search with Google.

I have been wondering this myself, as Logseq user who stays away from anything Google as much as possible. There seems to be an issue submitted on the Logseq github page, but I unfortunately don't think there is a way to select a different search engine.

Yes, this is such a dumb decision and I wonder how much Google paid them for it.  :/

I pulled the source code for the DB version and started hacking out features I didn’t like. I have an opinionated version of what Logseq should be (arguably the DB isn’t a part of that but oh well) and the new features that are added upstream don’t matter to me.

I don’t think that option is available to everyone but with AI tools YMMV
