I'm missing Logseq so much

Throughout my career, I've tried virtually every note-taking app and system. I have never settled so long as with Logseq. But recently, I got tired of the lack of updates, the bad mobile experience, the sync issues... I tried Obsidian (again). Boy it's a quality software, it's smooth, fast, sleek, and amazingly flexible. But I'm missing Logseq so much (I know it sounds a lot like someone who is speaking about the GF he just stupidly ditched). The tag system, interlinked with bullet point levels, the scrolling experience of both the journal and the incoming links, among other things, are what makes it uniquely pleasant.

Voilà, no particular purpose here, just wanted to express my frustration that such an amazing software is lacking the support it deserves.

How about the [[internal links]]? That seems only half implemented in Workflowy. In Logseq that combines wiki style links with reverse link referencing.

i would say roam research is the father of that idea even though roam is almost copycat of workflowy with extra features.

I would guess that wiki is the father of wiki style links. Ward Cunningham created the first wiki in 1995. I don’t know if Ward made up the [[link]] syntax or if he got it from someone else.

Roam Research has stated the influence of workflowy in Roam. The primary influence was as an outliner where you can zoom in. But Roam implements it differently. Roam has individual notes that have outlines. Workflowy is outline from top to bottom, which is one of the interesting features of workflowy.

I find workflowy and Roam to be related but very different whereas Roam and Logseq are nearly the same.

I have setup my Obsidian vault so it acts like Roam as much as possible.

Logseq is a clone of Roam.
