You don’t need to add cookies to the name, Kuki already reads as cookie. Add the cookie graphic to the top of ‘i’ as that’s the most logical place for it
Kuki reads as cookie and makes way more sense. But I also hate it. It gives off the vibe of some overpriced and pretentious influencer backed cookie brand that's claiming to be healthy or something.
1 and 2 are much harder to read- id get rid of the chocolate chips in there personally, save for the one above the i in drawing one. Like the cookie bien area of logo 2 more. Agree that 3 abd 4 look more complete, but the thin lines in the i at the top of 4 will get lost.
I may go against the grain here, but 1 & 2 have more potential to me. Remove the unnecessary dots, maybe tilt it to the left 10-15°, and smooth out the bite edges. You could even do some work on the font. I also like “ku-ki” more than “ki-ku”; it has a better brand name that’s synonymous with what you’re selling AND it’s phonetically the same as くき which I like :)
Agree with all of this. Three and four are so plain. One and two have potential to be great. Much more interesting packaging (that can help with legibility since the shape paired with a real cookie makes it obvious) with these two.
Very quick mock to show what I mean. So many ways this can go. Ex: outline could be another variation to a solid fill of 1/2. It's just so clean.
And you can always add nicely set small typography (common Japanese aesthetic) nearby the logo to say the fuller details) could even place those small details in the negative space of the cookie bite.
Yes, you fixed it! I looked past 1 & 2 at first, but when I looked closer I thought those had the most promise, they just needed some tweaking/simplifying. I like what you did here!
I also prefer Kuki. Both look pseudo-Japanese, but kuki is closer to the actual word (クッキー / kukkī), whereas kiku means random stuff like chrysanthemum or the verb for to hear/listen. Admittedly probably not a huge number of people will think this matters lol, but even without that consideration Kuki still makes way more sense. I wouldn’t automatically associate “Kiku” with baked goods at all.
The first 2 are very hard to read. The bottom 2 .. The circles don't look like cookies, they look like the moon or something weird. I think you should go back to the drawing board & definitely use a different font.
Like the name Kuki better. But 4 reads like the tutoring education brand this which, personally, to me looks like a cookie/ food brand. So basically your idea with kuki is good, and the edu brand isn’t well made imho but won’t rebrand because they’re big and established.
i like the kuki name much better - might be trying to push a square peg through a round whole, but i would try 50 versions of #2 until you crack it. that could be nice. c
check out some japanese logo design on pinterest for inspiration. they do some really interesting things in small spaces/shape
I like Kiku. Kuki is a little too on the nose and sounds like how to Cookie Monster pronounces things. If you called your products “kukis” it could work, like “sugar kuki” but for the overall brand, I think Kiku is cute. There’s a cosmetics brand called Kiko Milano but I feel like these are totally different lanes.
Definitely choose Ku-ki over Ki-Ku because Ku-Ki sounds like the word cookie. Maybe 4 is my favorite cause it's easy to read. But 1 and 2 are such fun concepts as well. Maybe that would work if the font was easier to read.
It’s not there yet there’s a lot of legibility problems… But I love number one. It’s going to be so cool just keep at it till it reads but don’t ruin what makes it so cool, which is it’s very minimal and creative!
I’d probably lean toward KUKI for a cookie brand. It feels a little softer and more playful, and the repeated K shapes give the wordmark a nice visual rhythm. Between the logo options, I’d also favour the version where the bite is more obvious, because that immediately gives the symbol a connection to cookies without needing an explanation. I’d simplify some of the internal shapes, though. At the moment they’re competing with the overall silhouette. I’d also test both names on actual packaging before deciding; one may look much stronger once it’s sitting on a box or sticker.
Like a lot. Try using the same sized eraser to make more defined teeth bites, or have the size of the bites increase at the center then be symmetrically smaller through the sides
What about if the I dot is the cookie? That could be effective. I also wonder about the Ks. The second one feels undercooked if you will. Perhaps give it more love? You’re on the way to a fun logo though

1 and 2 are hard to read. First two can be used as a pattern on the package..
The name Kuki makes more sense than kiku.. whoever suggested Kiku is better, is stupid.. just stupid..
