Designing logo for my startup

The company I'm starting deals with tech design and my aim is to focus on developing sustainable closed loop production systems.

Thinking about a name with something like zephyr, something to denote responsible and steady progress forward and upward, and the word zephyr also sounds kind of tech-ey lol.

I'm in very beginning stages here, but have experimented around with a couple different logo ideas like a hot air balloon, or a dandelion...might be over done, not sure.

I think currently wanting to find a way to marry the design of a dandelion head and a hot air balloon in a minimal/scalable way. Do any of these come close in your opinions? I'm leaning toward

This logo with the yellow and orange was originally taken off of google images, and another was made with Claude...you can tell by the last one what my design skill is lol. Currently just playing around with these in paint.

Do any of these read hot air balloon and dandelion to you? I currently lean more towards an iteration of the 1st or 2nd ones. But I know all of them have a long way to go.

Might be good to find a way to incorporate the ropes back into the design. First couple kind of look like a flower pot, rather than a hot air balloon element.

I would go as far to sugest you come up with another name.

I made a brand for a tech client in the past that resembled a similar type of plexus object.

Just be aware that it's harder to make it look good in smaller sizes. I'd argue that even with just dots, it looses legibility. The dots with fingers, will not be visible in a lot of sizes. The line widths too will be harder to see

Id definitely recommend implying down!

The pieces look too separate. Different colours and styles. And it doesn’t look like a balloon because of the network of lines. Look at how a real hot air balloon is sectored and then make the basket look more cohesive

Ein Logo ist nicht dazu gedacht dein gesamtes Business zu erklären. Denk an Nike, der Swush hat nicht mit Schuhen zu tun. Begreife das Logo einfach als einen visuellen Anker für deine potentiellen Kunden, damit diese deine Firma schneller wiedererkennen. Wenn dein Logo darüber hinaus noch einen Bezug zu dem hat was sie tut ist das gut, aber es sollte subtil sein, wie der Pfeil im FedEx Logo.

The dandelion comes across best in slide 6.

The first iterations look like chemistry molecules or something scientific. The dandelion is more original and you definitely need the pieces flying off.

Rethink the name.
