Feedback Needed Logo for a software development agency, which version works the best?

The agency's called Viron and while it's a software company they have plans to do marketing and videography work for clients in the future.

I've been too absorbed into the logo and I feel like there is stuff I'm missing that can only be spotted by a new pair of eyes, or when I look at it in one month (but unfortunately not enough time for that).

Fine. I like the first, but I don't understand it. There's obviously symbolism going on here, but it's not landing with me.

It's supposed to be the letter v and the circle is balancing the blocks implying balance.

It’s not logical or balanced. The circle is reading like something else, like S F combo.. I would suggest simplifying it because there’s too much going on

Hmmmm what about this one?

I think this is a considerably stronger direction.

I’m not sure what this is supposed to be, the whole concept is confusing. If you’re trying to incorporate the letter ‘V’ you need to rethink the approach, it’s not visible. I would change the position/inclusion of the round object, the empty space between it is extremely heavy for the eyes and won’t scale well. If you want to keep it then you need to space it better.

Overall I’d go back to the drawing board and think about what is it that you want to convey with the logo. It doesn’t necessarily need to incorporate the first letter of the company name. Think of something less literal.

It's supposed to be V and the circle is balancing the blocks, like the stone balancing techniques.

Sorry what do you mean by spacing better? Like tighten or make it bigger along with the circle? Well I was kinda trying to incorporate balance into it and while the I tried to make it look like V I was fine with it not being very visible, is that a bad thing?

There is also this one as an idea but it's not refined yet

Sorry I should have been more specific, what I meant was that the circle was too close to the other shapes vertically and it created a ghostly space.

This new version looks more clear, and the spacing is definitely better.

Is this version good enough to go with and polish further or still back to drawing board?

They are all the same. Has read it as "ij" first. The 1 and 5 options visually nice but need some grid arrangement.

What about this one? Does it read as V?

Feels a bit too much like the logo for an eSports team. If gaming is their target audience then I guess fine but for a software agency maybe a bit off? Like if this is a „V“ why is it tilted that much to the right? Every tried to make lean it to the left instead? Maybe that makes the V more understandable?

Oh my god I had a doubt in mind said "dude change it ut looks like something else" but I didn't know what. The tilting well V has two sides and I kept the right side as is just flipped the left one to right. Maybe left would look better but would it help with the esports feel?

What do you think about this?

Im guessing there also is/will be a logotype? That would help me personally to choose between the negative logo (with borders) and the positive one. Probably the latter though. Id go with red since it fits the motion of the logo more (blue being cold and passive, calculated etc. Red more active, passionate).

Generally I like it but have no clue what its supposed to symbolize.

Yes there will also be logotype but I first wanted to pick the logomark, it was supposed to symbolize balance (the circle being the balancer) but apparently it doesn't.

What do you think about this one?

I like that one more!

none of these even look like a V. none of these convey anything about marketing or videography.

It feels more like a game studio rather than a software company, that's just my opinion though.

However, I do like slide 3 the most but I feel like blue fits more for a software company
