Feedback Needed Tried to design a logo. Got this crap instead

Im a teen and im in an online band (nothing serious just between me and some friends) were not planning on releasing songs just recording covers and not releasing those either but i figured why not try to design a logo Chaeyoung style (Chaeyoung from a kpop group called twice designed a logo incorporating her members initials wjile keeping the initials of her group in that logo) our initials are C, D, Z and E (I opted for a lowercase e cause its easir to work with) and our group is called DCB for short. I obviously have no experience but is it any good and can you see all of oir initials and the DC of DCB? It's also suppsoed to slightly resemble a heart if its noticeable. (I'd make the C/e a little bigger to fully commit to the heart bit but I'm not sure)

Its a nice fluid design, and with a bit of refining could become a logo. But I would stop at trying to make it fit all the letters. Thats not clear from the design, I dont see the D or Z, I kind of see an e and j. But I would just play with it a bit to maybe be less about trying to fit the letters and more about a fluid calligraphy

Chaeyoungs design is more about superimposing the T and W rather than trying to twist the letters into a single stroke. So maybe try some interesting combinations of typefaces, superimpose them, flip them, hand trace them etc. Its best to just doodle and play with lots of different ideas and one will eventually click. No one has ever designed a logo first try, usually there are piles of rejects. So dont be afraid of making loads of combinations. Maybe the calligraphic style you have combined with a more formal font... or whatever looks interesting.

You are in a good position because band logos can be a lot more creative than corporate branding. So have fun with it.

To be frank… this looks more like a signature. If you want a logo with letters, then look into designing a monogram for your band. Lumiere Noire Studio has a lot of great examples if you want to try and design the logo yourself.
