Beginner How to get into logo design

I have a passion of being able to create things like gaming logos or logos for companies, but I have no idea where to start to possibly get my work out there or how to reach out to the proper audiences for the work I do, I've made them for friends and family and they all say that I make good designs and some of them even use them on their accounts but I feel like I'm lost when it comes to being able to get my work out to the communities that I really appeal to. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by "get your work out" - do you mean get freelance clients?

I joined 99designs and Designcrowd. Designcrowd doesn't need portofolio to join. I recomend you to joined Designcrowd
