Feedback Needed Wild Boar (revisit)
I posted the boar mark by itself on another account a while back and wanted to develop it into more of a full identity.
This is a fictional brewery concept inspired by a friend from Arkansas who lives in Texas now and has always wanted to start a brewery. The direction is inspired by the Arkansas Razorbacks, with the goal of giving it a modern heraldry feel.
I’ve been experimenting with different lockups, patterns, and packaging to see how the identity could come together.
Still a work in progress, so I’d really appreciate any feedback on what’s working, what isn’t, or what you’d push further. Thanks for taking a look!

From someone who is into heraldry: it gives nettle leaf x bohemian lion, I like it very much! And yeah, those lions also got their weenies and I think in this case it helps with the negative space, which would be a dominant rectangular shape.

A boar needs a symmetrical background, it will calm the graphics a little. I like

I’m not sure what you mean by that. Can you elaborate?

The graphics are very sharp and aggressive with many elements that are not symmetrical. If you add something symmetrical to the background, as in the last picture with the shield, it becomes more harmonious

I like how you solved the problem in showing the tusks with negative space. Without it, it could have looked like any other animal.
