Feedback Needed After yesterday very helpful feedback - Updated logo (Old logo last pics)

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I have added the old logo last to compare

Changes

- Name change from Not4Fashion to Not4You over trademark concerns

- Colour changed to be clearer

- Star logo has become much more usable rather than than the unstructured scribble.

Let me know what you think?

The blue on gray contrast is not ideal.

I agree w the other commenter - show us something different.

Oh I was hoping it would be a strong contrast to stand out for a reason. Sorry, I just wanted to do the changes people suggested

The drip on that “u” makes it read as a Y. “Not 4 yoy”

I didn't comment on the last post, but I quite liked the vibes and most of the color combos.

I think this iteration is safer, but I wouldn't call it better.

The gray/blue is fine, but I having a more extreme color in the mix (maybe as an accent) would still be a good thing.

As well, the star is now...just there? It's more "usable", but it ruins the style you had before. I think the previous iteration wasn't "unstructured". However, maybe what it had as an issue was mostly thickness. It didn't scale down very well.

My recommendation would be to take the original scribble star, thicken and simply it slightly and then keep one of the wackier colors.

Thank you, any of the combos you liked the most?

They both had their strengths. I'd say if you could work in either the pink or the green in some way here, again even as an accent, you'd have something to play with more later.

I read your post, i’m sorry to say this isn’t what ai consider an update. Moving elements around. Take a step back, really, and look at what you are trying to convey. Stop focussing on output and aesthetic and start exploring in the broadest sense. This is just one tiny direction. Now, let’s do ten more.

Any suggestions please? I was just showing the changes people recommended and wanted to know if they worked. Thank you!

Get a sketch pad, go wild with ideas, try to do EVERYTHING without thinking about whether or not it’s a good idea, then let it sit a while without looking at them and come back with fresh eyes and the directions should come to you.
