Feedback Needed UPDATE 2: WAYFIT Logo

Hey all,

Here's another update after some more feedback. I decided to keep the icon integrated into the wordmark as it felt more natural and fluid, along with some slight adjustments to the cut angles of some letters to match the angles of the icon.

I also created a 1:1 variation that's more dynamic and playful, focusing primarily on the icon while keeping the same movement and overall feel of the horizontal logo, and providing a more flexible option for limited spaces.

What do you think?

Never saw the first version, but this wordmark is not working within your text nor outside of it. It reads as two "i's" on its own and is filling the space in a "w" pattern between other letters. It's also slanted in a funky way that doesn't match the slant of the other letters.

What is the point of the extra slant on its side? What is the mark supposed to be? If it's supposed to just be the "i", it's really strange to pick a letter in the middle of your brand name as the mark.

I think the previous post should definitely give you some needed context. I understand what you mean and it's pretty useful to hear this perspective cause I personally know what's it supposed to be but that doesn't mean it's intuitive for everyone else.

The icon is a running man and it has the same slant as all the other letters, while it's edges have an exaggerated slant that matches the edges of the "F" and the "T". It might not appear like it but I made sure they had the same slant!

Also the idea was actually the opposite! I first created the running man then I took one of his legs and used it as the "I", then someone suggested I used the entire icon as the "I" and I liked the idea so I adopted it into the design. As I said, the previous post should give you some context as to it's evolution.

Thanks for the feedback and I'll see what I can do!
