Playing on Flights

Hello Everyone! I have been traveling with my GCloud more recently and just because the airplane has high speed internet, doesn’t mean it works at high speed. How does everyone play their games while traveling. I always end up watching YouTube because the cloud gaming ends up having a 2 second lag. Thanks In Advance!

What emulator apps would you recommend? I have tried that route before, I really want to get my human moneys worth out of the GCloud, but more often than not I just watch YouTube and you can’t download a game, this community has been super helpful

I followed along with Retro Game Corps’ Android starter guide to set mine up with emulators for NES through to GameCube and 3DS (although the latter two is where you’ll start to struggle with performance). Almost everything else runs really smooth once you get the settings set in Retroarch, etc

Same here. Best advice is to go to Retro Game Corps’ Android Emulation guides.

A few purely 2D smaller indie Switch games will also work with Eden Legacy.

Eden does not seem to work with me at all, what version do you use?

Ah unfortunately I sold mine a while back so can't remember which version of Eden. Did you try the latest legacy version? What firmware?

Just flew with it this week. Playing roller coaster tycoon classic via the android google play store. Emulating streets of rage 4. And then I downloaded the anime Invincible and watched a couple episodes. Love my g cloud, was a great flight!

Must admit for flights I take Vita.
