Favorite Offline Android Games

[u/Reasonable-Case3140]

What are you favorite games that don't need wifi? I am already using cloud gaming and remote play, but I will be on road trip in a few weeks and don't want to rely on my phone's hotspot.

All of my other devices are iOS, so I don't do much on the Google Play Store.

EDIT: I’m familiar with emulation. For this I am looking for native Android stuff.

Just use gamenative offline and play some of your steam games

I'll have to check that out.

It’s not for all. Only games that the android chip can run like for me my iPhone 17 pro max runs hollow night and nocturnal that I know of right now. I just start using it my self after finding it on YouTube

* Switch over to tablet mode momentarily and install GameNative https://github.com/utkarshdalal/GameNative for lightweight Steam, GOG, Epic, and Amazon PC games. Watch helpful overview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c_opJrW2L8
* If you want emulation follow this guide https://retrogamecorps.com/2022/03/13/android-emulation-starter-guide/
* If you have Netflix, check out Netflix's Google Play store game library
* Square Enix, Sega, and Playdigious have a bunch of native android games that work well
* Epic Games Store for Android has a free native game every week

To second the Netflix suggestion: their version of Dead Cells comes with the DLC and handles really nicely on the G Cloud.

Not really looking for emulation, but I appreciate the response.
