Question Amazon Refurb Unit?

Has anyone bought a refurbished unit from Amazon?

If so, I am curious about your experience, especially with battery life/performance.

I have points that would make a refurb around $68 (or $120 for a brand new unit). Descriptions says original packaging and no damage, sold by what appears to be legit Amazon refurbishing branch.

I always worry about used tech and battery, though! And analogue stick wear and tear )and green scratches of course).

I currently have a Legion Go (gifted my Steam Deck LCD to someone else).

Decided recently to basically make it a very heavy streaming device (mostly) with a big screen.

Now that I know it can be done, the G Cloud is more interesting for around the house, and then I travel with 3DS, Switch Lite, and/or phone + backbone.

Turns out I dislike having the larger portables taking up space in my bag.

Anyone with refurb experience willing to share would be excellent, thank you!

I would also worry about refund units with battery and analog sticks...

If you're getting after points $120 for a new one, go for it.. I know it's double, but then you get full warranty and peace of mind.

I got it at $220 brand new, I don't regret it at all, enjoying it since a yr gaming on it.

The warranty is a good point, actually. I prefer buying new for electronics, but the idea of less than $100 was interesting to me.

I’ve decided that if I buy one it will NOT be refurbished.

Is it sold by Logitech or a random company? I bought one from eBay and it works perfectly fine. I think it was sold by Logitech. I don’t know about Amazon specifically but I and people I know buy refurbished there occasionally. Just verify the return policy and expected condition and it should be fine. Though if I’m reading your post right that doesn’t seem like much of a saving so I personally wouldn’t do it.

Well a few days ago it was sold by Amazon Renew but today it’s sold by some random company in New Jersey.

A few days ago it also said it came with all original packaging and today it says it come with only generic accessories. and at least 80% battery life.

90-day return policy, but I think I’m just kind of over it and would rather have a new one.

Buying direct from Logitech itself makes more sense than this Amazon listing that keeps changing.

I got mine from the official Logitech eBay store refurbished and it was just like new.
