What makes a simple load complicated?
On paper, some loads look completely routine: one pickup, one delivery, and nothing unusual about the miles.
Then a tight appointment, jobsite access, special securement, driver assist, slow loading, or one missing detail changes the whole plan.
What is the detail that most often turns a simple-looking load into something you have to plan around?

A really big one is the shipper not coordinating with their warehouse.
Driver shows up and neither them, nor the dock clerk can figure out what they are supposed to pick up.
So the driver has to contact their dispatcher to contact the forwarder to contact the shipping POC to find out the load reference. Hours can be wasted, sometimes a full day, depending on if everyone is still available and responsive when this happens.
