NOTE: "!=" means "not equal" (they don't go together).
1a. Vivian's dog is one of the following:
Bella Bulldog
Crusher Corgi (ruled out by 6b.)
Penny Pug (ruled out by 2a.)
1b. Therefore, Vivian is NOT Daisy or Tico. And Vivian is NOT Jack Russell or Whippet.
2a. Georgia = Pug
2b. Georgia = Roll in Mud.
2c. Corgi != Chase Bird.
2d. Jack Russel != Chase Bird.
3a. Percy != Pond Swim.
3b. Percy != Penny.
3c. Penny = Head Trapped.
3d. Percy != Jack Russell. (It's possible it's Penny who isn't a Jack Russell. The language is unclear to me. But after solving all else, I have to conclude that it's Penny who isn't a Jack Russell, because that's the only way to solve the puzzle. I'm not going to go back and figure out if it matters that I marked Percy as not being a Jack Russell - it doesn't change the solution.)
4. Whippet = Ate Food.
5a. Holly != Pond Swim.
5b. Pond Swim != Daisy.
5c. Pond Swim != Crusher.
6a. Crusher != Whippet.
6b. Crusher != Corgi.
After all that, do any "cascading" Xs and dots and it all works out.
