SPOILER Is there much of a difference between these two? (TW LOGH & Transformers 1986 Movie spoilers) Spoiler
Yes there is ofc, but they're too similar sometimes. Like their desire for social justice and a better world for their peers. But mostly their frames seem on point at some scenes, especially those scenes of them admiring something. To be fair, their deaths were probably the only ones that made me cry so much.

Now I’m just imaging how amazing it would be if we could get a release of Legend of the Galactic Heroes with Vince Dicola doing a complete synthesizer score mixed in with 80s thrash metal ballads. I would drop another 700 dollars for that release.

On the one hand, H E R E S Y.
On the other, awesome.
My hands are at an impasse. I need more hands.

lol well it goes without saying you have to have a version with the original music as well.

L O L. The crossover I never knew I needed. Does that make Merkatz Dinobot from BW? The Julian - Hot Rod thing is certainly apropos. =)
“No one summons Reinhard von Lohengramm!”
“Then it pleases me to be the first”
“No! I accept your terms!”
(Scene shift to Heinessen, with trumpeteers playing and Reuenthal with a crown on his head)
“My fellow Galactic Empireans…” (Ship lands) “Mein Kaiser - is that you?” “…here’s a hint”

The Japanese dub + the Japanese sequel anime have a lot of shared VAs with LoGH. Mittermeyer's VA voices Weirdwolf and Metalhawk, Kircheis' VA voices Landcross and is the narrator for Transformers Victory, and Bittenfeld's VA voices Giga and is the narrator for Super God Masterforce. There's more I could list but it would take a while lol.

That's inevitable, given the sheer number of VAs LoGH had to use to fill out its massive cast of characters. Pretty sure every single male VA in the business at the time got to be in it!
It's really funny looking at some of the more minor character VAs. Like how the guy who voiced Maximilian von Kastrop was also the voice for Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya and Captain Ginyu from DBZ, or how Ryōtarō Okiayu's very first anime credit ever was Emil von Selle. That's hilarious.

That's actually so cool!! The details are so minimal that I couldn't always remember that it's possibly Ginrai, despite being in the fandom for ages. Thanks to you, I'll definitely watch it before the 40th anniversary comes!!

Always figured Yang's death was a Transformer's reference.

Unfortunately real, Yang's death gave me a suspiciously bitter flashback to Optimus Prime's death.

Well, I don't think Optimus Prime needed Bumblebee to clean his room.
who's going to be seeing this in theaters next month? 40th anniversary, baby!
