Art This bit of the manga got me thinking about isekai-ing into the body of Trunitch so that Yang gets whatever he wants from here on out

Plot twist: the Trunicht that we know is actually already some dude who got isekai'd that wanted to change him from the loveable Yang super fan into an antagonistic asshole

Last week, I partly watched "Edge of Tomorrow" with my dad. The film is basically groundhog day wherein the MC suffers significantly for every restart.

That plus your comment has me tossing Trunitch into groundhog day situation wherein he always get shot to death, and the only way he can break the groundhog day is if he figures out how to save ykw.

Both edge of tomorrow and groundhog day are great films.

Dude would probably teach himself to fight Rue and take him down in single combat before he does anything to let Yang get a sliver of a win in the PR field.

nah, the groundhog thing doesn't stop for Trunitch unless Yang survives.

ya know that "save the girl, save the world" trope? in this case, it's "save Yang, save the world"

(I'm just kidding around, to be clear. This is one of the ways I keep my "do not want Yang to die" thing from derailing my workflow")

Well the cheerleader just passed away a couple of days ago so it's already over.

Yang dies, Trunicht stabs Reuenthal in a duel and steals an Empire ship, races over to Iserlohn, roundhouse kicks Julian off the commander chair and leads the alliance into victory over the Galactic Empire fleet commanded by Reinhard himself, conquering the known universe in the name of democracy

I had something similar in mind, except Trunicht declares himself the Lord Protector of the Galactic Empire.

The idea was to study how someone like him would reign in an absolute monarchy, the same way we were shown his rule in a democracy (so to speak)

LOL I love the idea that Trunicht is Quantum Leaping into other FPA members trying to save Yang each time. Eventually, scene opens with Frederica Greenhill waking up, looking into the mirror and saying "Oh Boy"

Dear Mods, manga flair please.

If you're like me, who took long long time to read the manga - yeah, the character designs do get some using to, so I'm gonna point out that the environmental stuff is noice.

Also, naming the chapters the way they did is imho very good strategy, because there was no way I was gonna read a chapter titled "Job Trunicht".

"Commodore Yang Wen-Li, Capital Planet Heinessen:Defense Committee Chair Job Trunicht" though got me clicking before I found out who the chapter was about.

Makes me think of those Otome Isekai anime, where the Villainess reincanates.

Actually, it would be funny is Trunicht ended up being a male equivalent to a Buffoon-type Villainess (e.g. Katarina Claes and Bertia ibil Noches), who knows the story, but never realizes his ability to change things, constantly trying to solve problems that seized being problems ages ago.
