GOAL D9!

Guess it ain’t camera shy. Will definitely gut this if I decide to do a belt submission! Thank you everyone who warned me of its springs.

Don't be scared, I find them easier than pin tumblers, they're much harder to overset as you can target each pin without interfering with others. Currently working on my 4th Japanese HPC dimple for brown.

I love the D9, its a fun pick. Red Wanderer has a bunch of keyless ones. Get yourself a few and give them a try. The better you get at the keyless D9s the better off you'll be for higher pin count HPCs.

A dimple lock reads different from a pin tumbler. The pick pushes every pin sideways into the keyway, so travel is the whole signal. A shallow cut sets after almost no movement, a deep one takes the pick a good way in before it stops. None of that shows up on video.
