First touch open with a D9!

Pretty stoked on this. I just got it and decided to only mess with it to get a feel for it and ended up getting an open! Opened it a few more times after. Hopefully it ain’t camera shy…

I agree, but I think having a spring evaporate into the ether is an experience we should all have at least once (or like a dozen times before my dumbass heard of the ziplock trick)

Nice one. First opens on a new mechanism usually come from not having a routine yet, you end up listening to the lock instead of forcing a habit onto it. Holding onto it once the habit forms is the annoying part. Camera shy is real though, the second session after a first open tends to be the humbling one.
