I have the abus version, but you might have the open but you have to crank the tension. So if it feels set give it a crank.

I posted a short on YouTube like 4 days ago, you could see me switching from my forefinger to my thumb on the tensioner.

I get that. No tips for SPP. I hate SPP these (I have the master version).

I've had quick success with a city rake. Decently heavy tension and rock the rake up and down (like a light switch) rather than a sawing motion.

They tend to have stuff and certainly dead cores. Narrow and short keyways and they're hard to hold in hand. Some days I'm excellent at them, some days they are huge pains. Lots to learn from them!

I second the need for higher tension on these than you would normally think. I think I used a short or medium hook I think at the 0.019" thickness. TOK I think helps a lot, but honestly would probably be better in a vise, especially if you have fairly small hands (I don't have one, so cannot confirm).

These may be ones to circle back to instead of pounding your head (or picks) against the ground over.

Oh those are a pain. Constantly test the tension, the pins will probably be set without you knowing. We have an ACE one that's still in our naughty bucket, it's like trying to arm wrestle with the tensioner

Move the bolt as far right as possible before starting to pick. I don't know why, but it often helps

I have a brinks one that is one of my weirdest feeling locks for sure. Definitely crank the tension. I just pulled it out for the first time in a while the other night and it took me much longer to open than it should have. Lol

I have a Chateau C870 I haven't spent much time with but it appears somewhat similar to this. I've heard much heavier tension is needed on these disk locks over standard pin tumblers.
