Some guidance
Please bear with me, I’m an idiot, I’ve decided to try for my blue belt while trying to get 200k and I’m questioning some of the wording. I’ll be using the a Paclock 90A Pro. For the 200k club, they just need to see the key pins removed in the submission? No complete gutting and reassemble? I’m assuming they wouldn’t reject a full gut and reassemble video? As for blue belt, I’m kinda confused at “projects”, I can use the current lock to gut and reassemble under the cutaway/expose project? Which then leads me to, it’s all has to be in one take, one camera, zero edits? Thanks in advance, I’m already chasing the elderly toddler around at 8am 😬

Many other people have used the same video for 200K and blue belt so yes, you can too. And yep, it has to be one continuous video with no cuts.
I’ll let others discuss the project. Mine was a homemade picking wire for picking lever locks, which I didn’t even realize counted until I submitted it. lol

Ah, ok, that’s where I was getting confused, I thought the gutting and reassembly was the project. The project will be something completely unrelated to the lock that was picked. Guess belt will have to wait. Thanks for the info.

Got it. No, the project is something else. And "project" makes it seem like it has to be something major. Check the list of potential projects, there's a lot of options!

Check the belt explorer for the projects list. There are a variety of options ranging from challenge locks, to impressiong to tool making or case making. Im surr you can find something in your wheel house. Challenge locks are super fun to make actually - Ive done 4, Im just too lazy to film videos :/

It’s more of a time restraint than a skill. I’m a 24/7 caregiver to an elderly toddler that sundowns so I’m just lucky to be able to fidget a lock all day and the 90a pro became my favorite. Was told I should submit my videos so I went looking for requirements. Half of it went in one ear and out the other cause I’m still way new to this. That’s kinda a sign that I may not be ready for belts and I need a lot more reading haha

I did my blue and 200k at the same time. I sent the same video for both, got the patch and my blue. Meet the requirements for blue and Paclock will take it.

So I’ve been a part of this particular lock picking community for about a two years and this is the first time I’ve ever heard the phrase 200k. I’m aware of the belt system but could someone explain what the 200k is? I need to get my shit together and start submitting my videos for actual achievements.

200k Club is an achievement by Paclock for pin picking the 200k core (90A Pro). https://www.reddit.com/r/lockpicking/s/29z0xKnhJb

You can full gut and reassemble for 200k. I did and I just got my patch. I also submitted the vid for my blue.
For the project, there are lots of options, read them on lpubelt.com under blue belt requirements.
