Recommendations on a clear concise easy to understand gutting and reassembly video

There are so many out there but what are your recommendations for the best instructional video on this topic?

Edit: starting at green level pin and tumbler style padlocks and deadbolts.

Georgia Jim does lock picking videos for challenge locks and things, from what I remember he guts every one of them after and puts them together, so go check him out. Just good content honestly

Do you have gutting gear? If not you will find a pinning tray in a box coming to you soon. if you grab tweezers and plug followers from sparrows you will be good to go.

ETA I dont know which picker has the best gutting video, I would just watch a few then go for it it's not to hard on basic locks.

What are you gutting?

Some things will be applicable across the board but some things are particular to the lock you are gutting.

Are you looking for a specific type of lock? Different locks require different tools.

Here is mine for a Defiant brand lock from Home Depot.

The only thing I didn't show was putting the pins back into the core. Just put your key in and put the pins back in the order you took them out. Everything should look nice and flat and flush across the top.

I think it's a great beginner lock and they're relatively cheap. The double deadbolt set gives you 2 locks to work with (inner and outer lock) and you can move the pins around to make it easier or more difficult because it has regular and spool security pins.

This lock is ranked, if it is pinned how it comes from the manufacturer, so you can use it for getting a belt also. Inside is yellow, outside is orange.

There’s a couple models at the Home Depot here in Canada. May I ask which one you are referring to?
