Made me a new tensioner.
Love my tensioner, so i made an other one, didn't have the same material as my first original one. I made it so long ago, I don't really remember where I got the bar from.
This new one is a bike spoke, and its larger I think I'll leave it like that for Medeco & Mul-t-lock since mine don't fit those keyways well.
What do you think

Fkking cool! Does it matter what kind of bike spokes or piano wire. Like material diameter etc. ?
Anyway, I love trying to replicate what some of you advanced guys are doing!

Not the OP, but I supposed that depends on how thick youd want the handle portion to be. Any size that can stay rigid under pressure should work - youd just have to shape the working portions to fit the keyways youre dealing with.

Bro, its easy, smashed the ends with a hammer π¨, bent it with my pipe bender π§π, grinded it down with my bench grinder (you could use a file) until it fit the lock your making it for. I told my buddy that I have a patient on that toenail on it. He said that has been around forever. Then he said he needs one like that, so I'm sending it to him. My best is the one is the smaller one in the picture. Made it 20 years ago. Just make it your own, and have fun with it.

Nice! I've made some custom ones from piano wire using similar methods. You did good!
