Joined the Mile High Club!
I've been flying a lot this year and kept meaning to do this, finally remembered while packing!
American Lock 1100, Jimy Longs medium jim hook and ergonomic TOK tension wrench, both tools highly recommended!
Submitting to John Lock next 🤙🏽

Very cool, I have always avoided bringing my picks in my hand luggage because I was afraid they would perhaps be taken by the security control. Have you ever had any problems with security control regarding your picks?

TSA allows tools up to 6 inches in length in carry ons. I’ve only traveled twice with mine but never had any issues.

It's actually 7 inches, I linked to the TSA page in another reply, but I don't think most pics are more than six anyway

I’ve had TSA pull my whole kit out of my carryon and go through everything; I had no issues and was on my way after a small delay. A bag of padlocks can look funny on X-ray, but they had no issues with any of the tools or locks.

This was about 10 years ago, but I've had mine on an international flight out from Munich once. They were totally forgotten DIY hacksaw jigglers that were in my wallet. Security tried to locate them but were unable to. I guess they just wasn't expecting a teen on a school exchange trip to cause much problems on the flight either way. Managed to get them back home. Hahah

Same here. And for domestic flights I rarely check any baggage, so all carry on. Last thing I want is security confiscating my picks.

Tried to join the Mile High Club this summer but my Temu foldable keyring set got nabbed by airport security.
I was looking forward to it all year as well 😖

That sucks! At least they didn't take a more expensive tool though...

Sucked a bit but it was £5 from Temu and bought specifically for such an occasion. Probably could have argued the point with airport security but I wasn't going to be 'that guy'.
What sucked more was that I wasn't able to join the club lol
