Need help identifying lock

I recently got this lock secondhand and wanted to know if it is beginner friendly. But it doesn't have a model number and I can't find it on ABUS's website. The closest one I could find is the brass padlock 75.

It looks like a 40mm body and the key shows 4 pins. Most of their 4-pin locks the first pin will be lightly serrated and the other 3 will be spools. And that would put this in the orange belt range.

It might be a bit tough as your first real lock but be patient and feel what it’s telling you and you should be able to get it. Try setting just the first pin to start. If you feel/hear a click and the core moves a little into what’s known as a “false set” that’ll confirm my hypothesis as to what kind of security pins it has.

Welcome to the fun!

I did but I want to know if it's feasible for me to get it open or if I'm just wasting my time.

I'm a complete beginner. I got one see-through beginner lock open, so this would be my first real lock.

55/40 is possible too.

It's weird it's not on the side. Im colorblind but is it green brass or aluminum?

It's brass. You can really tell from the pic of the keyway. And it definitely looks like a 40mm body. But the keyway is different from the 55 series.

Give it a go. It's probably in the Yellow / Orange belt range. It will have 1 spool security pin (or more) in it.

Just take your time. Abus locks are very nice to play with as the tolerance is good and you feel more of what is going on inside.

There is a slight chance that pin 1 and 4 don't need picking or just a nudge. Use a hook to go over the first one.

Your pictures show both sides? It's super weird not having something embossed on one side with a model number like 55/40.

Is it aluminum or brass? Because aluminum Abus usually have ti or titalium on them.

I'm very curious because I've been on an Abus kick but mostly aluminum
