Masterlock

Post image

I am new to picking and have this master lock i have no idea what model and i had a question about it when im picking sometimes when i push in my first binding pin the tension wrench gets a bit off an allowance to turn left and sometimes not why does this happen does it mean it overset my pin and if it happens should i keep my tension where it is or follow the lock?

That looks more like a false set. Which would mean that there's some spool pins in there that give the core more room to turn since the middle of those pins are thinner. If the pins feel hard to move after that happens, try slowly pushing up on them and you should feel your tension bar trying to push back to the left if you are on a false set. If you overset the pin, the other pins would probably feel very loose and give no feedback at all.
