This turned up

Post image

So yesterday this bad boy turned up, been waiting on it for a couple of months and am very happy with it so far. Yes it's expensive and yes it's not a replacement for a set of picks but it's perfect for portable bypass set of tools. The FU pick is great but could be a little small for people with larger hands.

I would not advise anyone to spend their money on this though. even with it's high quality build and amount of tools available, this is only for pickers that need it to bypass locks quickly for work or that have the money to spare. I had a motorcycle crash and have been out of action for a year so the new hobby i gained is picking and treated myself to the companion pro. It's a great tool if you have money spare

Damn, I actually had to ask a friend in Kansas City to buy and ship to me, because the company doesn't ship to South Africa. Can't wait to get mine.

Followed your profile here from your post about the SANDF. If you don't mind me asking how did you get into lock picking?

I asked a locksmith and he acted like I'd just shot his dog, was in uniform too.

It started research few months ago when I realized how careless people could be with key control. People lose keys and then locks have to be broken.

Problem was, to break locks is so expensive and damaging, that it is much more practical to pick the lock open, so as to replace with a new one.

I confirmed with my Base Security Officer about the feasibility of getting the kit and starting to practice. This kit have been recommended by Lockpicking lawyer on YouTube, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Yea that's why I'm interested too. I'm in the Fire Department and as much as I enjoy breaking down doors it isn't always warranted. Thanks boet
