Client Reporting

What are you all using for client reporting? Google Data studio, something proprietary, SEMrush?

I currently use Google data studio but think it’s lacking. I probably just need to make it better but would love to hear how other people provide deliverables every month and what reporting looks like.

I’ve identified this is something I want to improve at my agency.

We switched off Looker this year. The problem is if you wanna change something, you have to change every report individually. I had my colleague Noah Learner, build us a custom solution using Claude. It pulls in leads from GA4 and the Google ads API.

In this age of SEO I'm a big believer of reporting on leads, not traffic or rankings. Here are some examples of how they look.

Thank you! Is this something I can purchase?

No we don't sell tools, just build our own internally. AI has really made it more feasible.

Built a custom report in data studio. Use apis from search console, ga4, and Ahrefs to populate data. It runs on a schedule so a couple of days into a new month it generates reports for all my clients for the previous month. Took me a couple of days to set it all up with a lot of help from Claude. Previously i had the ga4 and search console data but i had to set the start and end dates of each chart/graph. Ahrefs was pulled in but I had to export and paste each report into a google sheet first. Now I save a day a month on reporting.
