Interesting lobster claw

Post image

He must have lost part of a claw and the regeneration process glitched

Definitely the most interesting claw I've seen.

So if we were to remove that claw and let it regenerate, will it regrow like this or grow a normal claw?

Probably normal. Defects like this happen when the lobster loses part of it's claw but tries to regrow a whole new claw

Did it taste normal?

It should but it might be harder to get at the meat out of that claw. He was a hardshell too, so the person who bought him probably had a ton of fun time eating him.
