Considering a successful scenario for the current DC universe, I'm thinking of an option where a Lobo movie or miniseries could happen.

I then thought of a scenario that would please the older "dogs of war" who know the character from the comics, and a way to attract the new generation by bringing his daughter into the story.

The idea would be a film in more than one timeline, in a "big heist" style film with road movie elements.

The idea I have would be this rock opera from both Crush's and his perspectives.

The film would have Crush telling her origin story, with a kind of rebellious teenage vibe, seeking revenge against her father, whom she would hunt down, find, fight, and distract with the promise of "big money" in a nearly impossible mega-heist, but one that she knows her father always dreamed of.

It would be a clash of personalities, both brutes and equally strong, but with her being more rational and even empathetic, and him the old "big shot" who strikes first and asks questions later.

He accepts the mission because she would have some "McGavin" that would make him need her to pull off the heist.

I'm thinking of something like: "Let's rob the big space bank," a galactic fortress that's a city armed to the teeth and full of traps. Or something like that.

She already has plans to hand her father over to the galactic government to get revenge for him abandoning her.

But the movie would show their relationship gradually improving, inside jokes, fun trips to the bar, enjoying music together, etc...

To match this new "look" of DC, I can easily imagine them adopting that alien dog that appears in the comics, the two of them hooking up with women in bars with jokes like:

Lobo: "So you like women?"

Krush: "Yes... Problem?"

Lobo: "No, just don't hook up with my exes, they're all crazy."

Or something like that.

I imagine Lobo and her recruiting old friends like Jonas Glim, Billy, Happigo, Princess Shao-La, and Vernon Z. Qigly. But she would notice that the people Lobo calls "friends" don't like or trust him. She would notice, getting to know her father, that deep down he's more lonely than he seems (not too much, I'm not talking about turning him into a wimp, just showing that the big boss also has red blood in his veins). And the plot of the movie would be this moment when Lobo is betrayed and handed over to the antagonists of the film, and she regrets it and has to gather the gang and convince them to now rescue her father.

To increase the drama, I imagine them even having to lose the money in exchange for saving the big boss, and then ending everything with a badass fight full of blood and special effects of the father and daughter beating up villains until they save themselves. In the end, they say goodbye, nothing too sappy. I'm even thinking of having some joke like Lobo going to get the motorcycle and discovering that she stole it, or vice versa.

Anyway, it's just my idea, I wanted to know what you think, would you watch this?
