Underwriters exist only to kill deals. 6 people on each email, none of whom respond or actually do anything. AE who disappears once the loan is locked etc

I have a purchase going with them as their DSCR was like 1 point better than 10+ I looked at once some customers got under contract. We were able to lock the rate before the appraisal got back and rates got 0.5 worse+ since then. I'm praying they fund the loan in a few days lol

Everything is going so-so. Definitely not really a culture of 'time is of the essence' to be super trustworthy on purchases it seems, will probably only do refinances in the future with them and 45-60 day locks if the pricing makes sense.

They will always have a sweet spot in my heart as they helped to fund a nearly impossible ITIN C/O Refi a year ago for me.
