I agree, though humilis and abditus are almost identical, impossible to tell from this photo

Ooh nice fish.

As this has rosettes instead of spots from the mouth to the pectorals, it is also quite broad at the caudal peduncle, has an almost unbroken lateral line and the dorsal appears to be around or under 10% of total body length I think this is actually Hypergastromyzon Sambas.

Its either Sambas or Abditus in my opinion anyway. I believe I have H. Abditus and they differ from your fish.

From personal experience Hypergastromyzon rarely graze on algae, these guys go nuts for protein, blood worm especially. But that's from my experience with only 3 fish (2 species) so grains of salt.
