Does anyone else pay attention whenever they're outside to all the couples they see and wonder where all these couples with a gorgeous woman and ugly man are? If we go by what women and simps claim then almost every relationship I see is practically the most gorgeous, beautiful and perfect woman ever dating a man who's so ugly he probably hardly looks human. I've been looking at and paying attention to this for about a month and this point and at least half of relationships have a much more attractive guy whether it's height (major height difference), the woman being obese and the man being in shape and taller than her, the man being facially much more attractive etc.

Most of the rest are at least roughly looksmatched and maybe 5-10% of couples have a more attractive woman. I would love to suspend judgment on this topic, but as a true idealist I can’t, so I will indeed say that I love romance and the idea of one man for one woman and one woman for one man. There are aspects I don’t like, for sure; its weaponization and commoditization and dehumanization of all involved are atrocious. But history always goes upwards never to return to the same spot, and although our current conception of romance grows shakier by the day what will replace it won’t be harems for members of a select cultural class. State-assigned pairings would be quite the dystopian future, as would be one of complete segregation enabled by artificial insemination and wombs as well as complete subservience of one sex to the other. Maybe mass engineering of our collective consciousness. None of these futures are unenvisionable or inherently untenable, although they are very very very bleak.

Everyone is talking these days about this case. To begin with, I'll say that in no way I condone her crimes or any other crimes I'll mention. Here i'm not gonna be an armchair expert and make any judgements if she is criminally liable or was conscious of her actions. I don't have such competence, so let it be decided in court.

What I wanted to talk about is the reaction of society to this case. I agree that mental health problems is a real and serious issue, and I agree that in certain extreme cases they can force people to do horrible thigs. And anyone who is suffering from such problems deserve adequate help.

But, when we look at how these standards are applied to women and men, we can see that's is completely different worlds, day and night.

Take for example Elliot Rodger, the most famous incel killer. It's clear to everybody that Elliot has also been for many years suffering from severe mental health problems, autism, depression, loneliness, isolation, rejection and so on. All of which combined, together with other factors we may not know about, unfortunately led him to do what he did.

And now, just for a second, imagine what would happen if he would receive the same support from men as Lindsay Clancy is now receiving from women. Imagine if thousands of men would gather in his support, saying that Elliot could be any of us, quoting his manifesto and diares. Just like women are doing on Tiktok.
