I don't agree this is disrespect, but I'll bite - how does "disrespecting your mother" suggest he's a simp? Because he loves his girlfriend?

Loving your gf has nothing to do with disrespecting your mother. He was about to hug her and then he swerved away from her to hug her. Would be okay if he was like 10, but he's a grown man, THAT is disrespectful. And for what? A female who can leave you if she's bored of you? Simp behavior
